Why Multihulls?

“No Heel” Sailing. Most multihulls gently heel only a few degrees compared to up to 45 degrees on monohulls. Level sailing is safer and more comfortable with less fatigue and less danger of falling overboard. In the galley ‘less heeling’’ makes for easier meal preparation.

Exhilarating Performance. Multihulls are typically faster than monohulls of the same length both upwind and downwind. They are also lighter, with superior motoring performance requiring less horse power and giving better fuel economy.

Virtually Unsinkable. Multihulls don’t haul around a heavy keel for stability, relying instead on wide hull spacing to stay upright. Our catamarans are primarily constructed of a strong but light fiberglass and foam-core sandwich and incorporate several watertight compartments making them virtually unsinkable.

Spacious. Multihulls and catamarans in particular offer large areas of deck space with huge cockpits, foredeck trampolines but separate and ‘private’ hull cabins.

Shallow Draft & Beachable. Multihulls are designed without deep keels and give you the advantage of shallow water sailing and beaching with the optional daggerboards.
